If you have recently received your HSLC Result 2023 from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and find yourself unsatisfied with the outcome, we are here to guide you through the process of applying for the rechecking of your answer script/s. SEBA provides candidates with the opportunity to apply online for rechecking at their official website https://sebaservices.in/recheck-application/rechecking-photocopy
 The application window for rechecking is open from 24th May 2023 to 12th June 2023.


### Overview of SEBA Recheck Form 2023


SEBA conducted the HSLC/AHM Exam 2023 between 3rd March and 1st April 2023. If you are not content with your results, you can now take advantage of the rechecking process to ensure the accuracy of your marks.

### SEBA Rechecking Process


It is important to note that the rechecking of answer scripts is not equivalent to re-evaluation. The rechecking process includes the following:


1. Re-totalling of Marks: The marks awarded by the examiner will be re-calculated to ensure accuracy.

2. Assessment of Unevaluated Answers: Any answers that were left unevaluated will be assessed during the rechecking process.

3. Correction of Wrong Entry: If any marks were incorrectly entered, they will be corrected.


The results of the rechecking process will be communicated to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application. In case of any changes in the marks, the candidate will need to submit the original marks sheet/certificates to the Board's Office through the Head of the concerned School. The marks sheet/certificates will not be sent directly to the school or candidate but will be issued upon submission of the original documents.


### Application Fee for SEBA Rechecking


To complete the online application process for answer script rechecking, students are required to pay an application fee online. The fee structure is as follows:


- Re-Checking of Answer Script: Rs.350/- for each subject.

- Photocopy of Answer Script with Re-Checking: Rs.550/- for each subject.

- Mode of Payment: Online


### How to Apply for SEBA Rechecking?


If you are not satisfied with the evaluation of your answer script, follow the steps below to apply online for rechecking through the SEBA Recheck Portal:


1. Scroll down and go to the Important Web-Links section.

2. Click on the SEBA Rechecking Portal link.

3. The official Recheck Portal will load, and you should click on the link "Apply For Re-checking Or Photocopy With Re-checking Of Answer Scripts" to proceed.

4. Provide your Roll Number and No. of the HSLC/AHM Examination 2023 to continue.

5. Select the service you wish to avail, either re-checking only or photocopy with re-checking of the evaluated answer scripts.

6. Choose the subjects for which you want to apply for rechecking.
